Ocelot RegistryThe original used a big very heavy 6V bucket.
Ocelot II RegistryThe II is like an Ocelot with 12V smaller headlight buckets molded into the fenders.
Ocelot S/S RegistryThe design for the Ocelot S/S may have been stolen from the BushWacker S/S - the noses look very similar.
Vaquero RegistryThe Vaquero seems very rare - John has only seen 3 bodies.
Sand Chariots Vaquero
| Body |
Sand Chariots Vaquero. The are very hard to find complete with the frame under them. They were a built before Meyers designed Tow'd and have been thought of as being the buggy that inspired the Tow'd. The body was made to hold an aluminum fuel tank glassed into the body.

The tube frame was like no other on the market in 1968. Sand Chariots designed the single hoop tube to support cast standoffs for the transaxle and mounts for the roll bar and bumpers ect..

| Story |
I bought this buggy from a couple in Corpus Christi,Tx over a year ago. Since owning it I repainted it . while repainting I used bedliner on the whole undercarrige and for my floorboards. Its made for short people. I am about 5'7" and fit nicely in it. My dad is over 6 foot and has to wedge himself in it. Its a sight to see lol. Any help finding out the make and model would be appreciated. I have not found another one like it yet...... Thanks......AL
