Story	Just recently got this from a friend who is moving. Finishing the work he didn't have time to finish. New Wireing. Cleaned the Carb. New starter. New Battery. Gets up and goes. Needs front grill work. Original light green metal flake. I'll be selling this soon. Contact me. ASP.

Kellison Super T

Body	Body is 196? super t. I have repainted it with metallic silver and blue flames (tipped gold). It was red originally.
Frame	66 VW pan. I shortened and moved the shifter and e-brake tunnel back for super t body, at the time i restored it. Also I built a 2 inch body lift for more leg and seat room but it didn't help much. There is still a ledge that won't allow you to lower the seat.
Engine	64 type 3 1500 super. built it into an upright. Plans for 2100 dual port soon. 1500 was fine until I added all the weight during the restoring process.
Status	The car turned out awesome. It was funny to see some of the things I did when I was a teenager and had no money but at least i finished it! This time I built it, I had a plan and all the knowledge of 30yrs. Boy, what difference that makes!

Story	Owned for 30 years, took 3 yrs to build the first time. I restored it in 2005 and it took a year and half to finish . It turned out awesome. I have pictures of whole restore and finished car! I had my daughter put them on. My parents bought me the kit used for 500 dollars in 1975! It took 3yrs to build. I started restoring it in 2005 and the restoration finished in 2006!

Story

I have one of these. I sent you a photo a while back to help identify it. Maybe the following info will help. I am not sure but I think it was manufactured in CA in the late 60's or early 70's. I have only seen the pictures you have and pictures of one other Super T, located in southern CA. I don't know if there are more or where they may be.

Sand Piper Pickup Registry

Kellison Sandpiper Pickup came in two length's. shortened 14 1/2" and standard length for VW platforms. Optional hard top. One piece body, upswept rear fenders, double ridge hood, matching ridge on hardtop, with oval rear window.

Unkown 1969

Body	All I know is that it is a 1969 Volkswagen, with a type III engine, and have been trying to find out more about it!! If anyone knows anyhing about it, then it would be more then appreciated!!!

Story	Right now I am currently serving in the USMC and have not had a chance to work on it for about a year, and next year when I get a house then I would like to start rebuilding it. I have not been able to find anything like it anywhere!!

Story	I bought this for a song from a Craigslist ad, after looking for a local affordable Buggy for a year. The chassis just needs a bit of cleanup and paint. The body has a couple small cracks and the dash is cut, but it's amazingly straight. It's a project for a specific trip, once it's restored. Follow the link for pics.

Story	This was my introduction into the VW world. I have always admired the fiberglass Dune Buggy. On a nice March day while my wife was out of town I felt a little spring fever and couldn't resist the charm of this convertible. I bought it without telling her ahead of time, but I was only in trouble for a moment. Now she loves it as much as I do. Its a real conversation piece wherever we go, especially with the kids friends -- my daughter even asked me why everyone smiles and waves at us as they pass by.

Contact	My husband bought me the buggy 2 years ago. Started taking it apart in Nov. 07. I am sanding the body to paint. Hopefully will have it together by July 08. I got low back cloth seats, autometer gauges(they make a 5in. speedometer) new gas tank, pretty much everything new except the motor. Buggy will be midnight blue with dark gray when done.

Story	Been sittin about 7 years, pans rotten, single port engine seized. Got a 2180 going together and a pan in progress. Got an aluminum beam and a set of PRP lowbacks upstairs waiting for this project. I've wanted to build a glass buggy for a long time and have been collecting all the right parts for years. This buggy will serve as a recreational drag racer, street toy and family sand car. Am going add a multi point cage that's tied into the chassis.
