Beettle RegistryThis buggy has a tail box that extends up over the rear lid of the buggy. It also appears to have a fender support just after the front tires. Some may refer to it as a Beetle Auto Haus, but it actually has 2 "t"s based on the ad.

Story |
I bought this car from a guy in Simi valley for $2500. It had a swing axle and stock 40hp motor. He used it mostly for Pismo. I bought the car and did extensive modifications turn ing it from a "dune buggy" to an off road Baja race car. This car raced the 2005 and 2006 SCORE Baja 1000 events and the 2005 CODE McMillin 500.

Story |
My father gave it to me when I was too young to appreciate it. I sold it and then when I realised how important it was to my childhood I searched for it. 8 years after I sold it I ended up finding it in Oregon and bought it back. My father helped me restore it back to it's previous condition as someone had removed the Turbo engine. I will post pictures asap.

A previous owner used it for deer hunting in the northwest. My brother in-law purchased it about 15 years ago and restored it and then it sat for 10 years until I put it back on the road again in summer 2008.
