Poty Spoiler Registry

A Poty Spoiler is one of several designs that Joe Poty of Poty Enterprises in Santa Fe Springs made.

Josh's Xfile buggy

Body	It has a hood scoop looking mold on the hood, kind of flat fenders, a mini spoiler in the back, molded in dashboard, and the rear end is best described by looking at the pictures it has a cutout unlike any I have seen yet to clearance the air filter/motor.

Story	My dad picked it up years ago and after it sitting for awhile I started to tinker with it. He then just gave it to me for a project to wotk on. So now it sits in my garage awaiting the time to get something done on it.

X-0002 Joe's

Body	Classic, Flat Fenders, Scoop Hood, 2 peice dash/hood, FlipUp Tail, Full back seat area. Has a tag from Joe Poty, but have yet to see any literature to back up this ID badge. Looks to have no color in the gel coat, body is painted.

Sand Rover Registry

An East coast design with wider rear fenders and a tail box over the carberator to meet the East cost standards. It was advertised in late '67 and early '68 so it was one of the earlier models.

The hood is kind of a play on the Beetle hood.

Status	almost finished restoring this project, just some finishing touches to the cosmetics i still have to do

Sand Rover T ???

Body	T hood separate from buggy, flat fenders, and pickup back....all make me assume it is a Poty Enterprises buggy, although I have just begun to dismantle it (January 2008) and I have not yet found any ID tags.
Frame	VW, unknown year as of today.
Engine	VW 1600, as of today
Status	Getting torn down as of January 2008 for a total rebuild
