As of June '08 I have begun work on the Ocelot again. By the end of Summer I hope to have all of the chassis work done like the floors, undercoating, suspension, etc...I will try and wire it up during the Fall so I can just pick up an engine and install it Spring 2009. We'll see what happens.

| Transaxle |
Appears to be the stock '62 transaxle which has had the bellhousing opened up for a 12v style flywheel. Passenger side leaks and the driver's side axle and drum have bad splines.

| Story |
I bought the body from a friend who found it in Connecticut. According to the instruction booklet I got with the body, there was a Sand Chariots dealer there. This could be why I got an NOS body, sidepods, windshield and two dashboards.
On June 28th 2008 I sold the sidepods to a gentleman from New Jersey who owns an original purple metalflake Ocelot.
