Hi Paul and Group, Thanks for the invitation to join the group. I live in Michigan and do my duning at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. I have a fiberglass bodied (Manx copy) dune buggy with a type 1 VW engine. I am interested in the Subaru powered buggies because they appear to be a great alternative engine for the VW which will make lots of power, be reliable and not leak oil like the Type1! I hope to learn more about people's experiences with this conversion and eventually perform the conversion on my buggy. I am looking forward to hearing your stories. Thanks, Joe
