I bought it from a private party in Ohio about 5 years ago. He had it on a turbocharged Pinto powered buggy and could never get it to run correctly. I sent it directly to Electromotive to be checked out and they assured me there were no problems with the unit. I also bought the updated tuning software at the same time. What ECU are you switching to?

It would no longer fire the injectors. The person from whom I purchased it was no longer on good terms with Electomotive and he could not repair it himself (or didn't want to). So he gave me credit for the Tech II towards the ECU he is selling now. So now I have to go through the process of having this one programmed and then fine tuned. The same friend who programmed the Tech II has an appointment with another shop that has a dyno for this coming Monday to fine tune this ECU. Out of curiosity, from whom did you purchase your Tech II? Smiley
