For a while I have been scratching my head about the plastic inlet tube and air cleaner location for my 2.5 quad cam which has a remote air flow sensor in the plastic tube not on the manifold so the original tube must be retained, a while back I reversed the inlet manifold which stopped me from cutting the body for clearance which solved one problem but the air cleaner sits in a bad location well past the engine even thow I shortened the plastic tube which helped but it was still not good, I have now made some reverse/directional throttle body adapters which lines up the plastic tube and aircleaner much better--another headache solved

Here the throttle body has unwanted stuff remove and a VW solex arm welded onto and exiting blade to eccept a standard throttle cable, the 'radius ' of the new arm is also matched to the solex carbi arm 'radius' so there is no mismatch between it and the standard gas foot pedal which I will be useing, I want to make sure I can obtain WOT
