I am building this unknown buggy using a 1962 Buick 215 cu.in.aluminum V-8 and I would like to find out who made this buggy. Looks like the hood from the Impy but I am not sure. It came on a uncut pan and the dash is joined to the hood any help with the I.D. would be great. I will up date as I build (and will be asking a lot of questions through forums like this) I will try to post the pics if I can figure out how (turning a wrench for over 40 years and using a computer for about 2 months) Thanks, buickbuggy

What does the tag say? Is that just a state vin tag? some times you can get lucky with a manufacturer tag. Its right where the wiring harness comes inside. the tag is just behind there near the dash.

Jay The tag seen is just a Washington state I.D.or vin tag it matches the one on the pan. There was one just like mine on Craigs list in Seattle. I called him and he said it was a Manx, don't believe him though, he also thought it was Covair powered at first. I was wondering if it could be one made by Kawalskis Fiberglass Products local to me in Clackamas Or.? As far as any I.D. tag there is not one anywhere on the body. I have looked everywhere. I am going to fab up a rotissere of some kind to make body mods easier. I will take more pics top and bottom and post, might help for I.D. Might be awhile though,I want to finish the motor and frame first.
