My stock Subaru 2.2 with a 002 bus transmission I am running a 200mm (8") clutch.  I first tried the stock clutch and the engine would easily over power it and it would slip.  I then purchased a Kennedy StageII 2100# pressure plate and an EMPI Cushion Grip Disc.  It hooks up well and has a good feel.  At first the pedal was very heavy and I ended up breaking the clutch cable, it pulled out of the crimp on the pedal end of the cable.  I thought it was a poor quality cable but I was wrong?  The problem was the flex sleeve at the transmission was not on the tube that goes through the pan so it was binding.  I put a new cable in and fitted everything together correctly and it feels like a new car and the pedal is easy to push now.  The Kennedy StageII pressure plate and Cushion Grip Disc is a good combination.
