Greetings -

I've owned my buggy for a few years now. Needless to say, I dig it.

I bought it from a fella, who bought it from a girl, who bought it from someone else...

Nobody knew who manufactured this body. I've researched it, asked a lot of buggy enthusiasts, no ID so far.

So, if anyone recognizes the pattern on the hood, with the raised circle where the smiley face is (which I assume must have been for a VW emblem) let me know.
