Howdy.
A friend told me about a buggy that had been in a garage under a tarp for a few years after the owner had passed away. I went to take a look and what I found was a very cool four seat buggy, on a full length pan, with a dual roll bar system that uses the front roll bar as a windshield frame. The sides of the body had VW Thing style ribs molded into them and the dash was also molded fiberglass. Turns out what I had found was a very early Lolette Buggy manufactured by Volkspares in South Africa. The original owner who built it had towed it to the US from Ontario Canada quite some time ago. I can only assume that at some point they were exported into Canada from South Africa. Anyway, here are some pics, if you need or want anymore for the Buggy ID index, let me know and I will be happy to upload them. S/F B Attachment: F542EC69-007A-4123-9DF0-1BEE7B971262.jpeg (577.1k)
