Hi, new member here and I just purchased an Irwin Manx body to build my buggy...I have a few questions regarding the Irwin Manx model in the archives. I want to know 1) where the Irwin manx was made. 2) Is it called Irwin Manx or Irwin Dune Buggy 3) What years was it produced. Any other info or places to get info on it. Thanks, Nelson Santiago in Washingtonville NY.

It has IRWIN molded into rear deck/seat area.

We have it as Irwin Manx. They also had a hood logo. And oval with IRWIN in it. I wasn't aware it had IRWIN in the plastic in the rear seat area. If you get the chance, please post a picture of the name in the glass!

It has a small oval on front hood but I don't see anything on it, maybe it had a decal or something at one point. I will be stripping it down to the original gel-coat soon so we'll see. I'll def take more pictures and post them here.

Nelson, It looks like that Irwin logo in the rear seat area is actually the hood badge probably stuck to the plastic. When you strip it down, it will be interesting to see if that oval comes off the glass. It doesn't look like it is part of the fiberglass.
Also.... i's the oval the same size at the oval spot for it on the hood?

Hi Jay! I went ahead and stripped the logo on back seat area, its definitely molded into the glass. I also cleared the over paint in hood oval and found nothing, guess a decal or something is missing from there.

Thanks for taking the time to measure and to verify the rear seat logo. I believe the hood logo was a logo.
