What type/brand of ball joint is recommended for my buggy?  1972 kingpin.

1972 Kingpin?

No kingpins on a 1972 and no ball joints on a kingpin.

Oh, sorry.  Is it called a beam?   Also, I have
Front End Adjusters For Ball Joint Front Ends, do I need the ball joints for lowered suspension?
I found ball joints on jbugs.
Has anyone ever just rebooted a ball joint?

A kingpin front suspension is on pre 1966 (I think) chassis.  Ball joints came later.

If you have adjusters in the beam I would get the clearance ball joints like:

If you already have lowered ball joints and they are in good shape you can reboot them:

Great stuff, thank you!  Can you grease these? I don't see fitting in picture.

Nope. No fittings. You can get a needle attachment for your grease gun and slide it in from the top if you feel its needed.

Ok thanks,  Is it necessary to remove control arms when changing ball joints?

Well they have to be pressed in and out so it could make it a heck of a lot easier.
