This is a 3rd time "on the road". Built this in 1967-8 when I was 15. Rebuilt it (updated just a bit) in 1996. And just pulled it out again.

Alemeda Fiberglass Body (out of Alemeda, Californis). I paid $68 for the body back in 1968.

This time new clutch (rattling) and the transaxle leaked out gear oil faster then I could put it in. Added a few chrome parts and will be adding more shortly.

All Corvair. No VW in this thing at all. Front suspension, rear suspendion, transaxle, and engine...Alll Corvair. It is running 63 van rear axles to widen out it's stance, and turn it to 5 lug and larger rear brakes.

Going back together!!

The engine has only 6,800 miles on it sense re-build. Fuled it up this week, and I had 3 gasoline leaks, so the fuel lines will be replaced this weekend. Then fire up!!!
