Hello, everyone. Renctly we are buliding our 1100cc buggy and do the road test. But today when we go out to have a test, there is a problem on it. No matter which gear it turns to,the top spped can't exceed 40km/h. Is there anyone who knows what's wrong with that and give me some idea? Thank you in advance.

Buggies are by no means aerodynamic. Perhaps 1100cc is not enough engine to overcome drag?
Looks like a bike engine car. Should have some HP but I know nothing about bike engines. Car looks HEAVY. It takes some doin', but you can hit 200kph in a buggy brad
It is a UTV. Clever use of a body that looks like a dune buggy but nonetheless. The website states top speed of 90KPH. I will say no more.

1100cc is OK just for wandering, a leisure buggy, not for daily use. The top speed is 90km/h. Actually we are developing 1500cc.

It uses a car engine. Have you ever heard of Chery QQ. We use the same engine. This buggy is 650kg weight. The top speed of this buggy is 90-100kph, 200kph is really high for a buggy I think.

We design it as an street buggy, for road use, different from a UTV. Yes, we have to limit the spped to no more than 90kph under EEC homologation.
Did you figure out what the problem was?
And I have a speed record with my buggy at 200kph set in 2012. Yes it's fast but what a ride!!!!!

It is because of our fault operation. We use it as off road actually it is just for on road use. It damaged the gearbox and we got it repaired.
