What kind of gauges are you all using. I've heard people say some after market speedometers and fuel gauges don't work well in the buggies. Any help please?

Fuel gauges are fine as long as you match the sender to the gauge,

Mechanical speedos are likely off. Electronic speedos can be calibrated.

Any gauges can be made to work....whats your budget?

I don't  really have a budget. I'd like to do a 6 gauge set something that looks nice and functions properly
Ps I like bells and whistles

Last question most temp gauges are water temp can they be used to read oil temp ? Because most 6 gauges set come with the water

Can they? Yes. The sender might be an issue (water temp senders are usually quite large). If you go with Speedhut, or even egauges.com, they will usually swap a water temp for an oil temp if you ask.

take a look at these folks, a lot of options.

Or if your do have the funds to spend, look at the Lowrance gauges, displays, and mapping (including offroad)
www.lowrance.com  (the web site is a bit clumsy and geared toward water but I assure you full line support of road vehicles exist)
senders for just about any monitoring needs on one wire, plus GPS added in.
All in a nice touch screen package.  These are what is being used for BAJA to road ralley drivers.
