Hello everyone , I just bought my first buggy. A berry mini-t on a pretty 65 chassis. And I am excited as if I was a kid again. Brought her home , drove it around the yard , pulled it in the shop ,and took it apart . new brakes (disc's) lines, and a hydralic clutch . installing a 1915 engine dual carb set-up , and new tires / shocks . and a 12 volt wiring harness / starter .
Very cool. I like my Mini-T. I would advise against shifting the braking force any more to the front than stock. There is little weight up there so stock front drum brakes lock up pretty easily. Rear disc brakes might just be the bomb. My Mini-t is 1964 based and the brakes are stock except for a late model duel circuit master cylinder with a snap on reservoir.
I just bought a mini t also, look forward to seeing yours built/ progress. Larry from northern KY here. Welcome and good luck with it
