This is my 1957 Safari Trail buggy. She takes pretty good photos, but she has been abused by hacks over the years. I am taking my time and I hope to get her back in shape in a few years.

Her engine is being rebuilt right now. 1600 dual port engine, counter balanced crank, lightened flywheel, dual carbs.

She needs brake work, fiberglass work and a rear wheel seal rebuilt.

No hurry. Just doing it right and as cheaply as possible.

I hope that you light it.

Ruben, you obviously have a good start and the right attitude to do it right. I like your Safari, Good Luck................
From a 75 yr old Dunebuggy'er since 1968, mine is titled as a 1958........................
