Hey all,
First timer rookie here, quick question, does the E-Brake support bracket that the handle attaches to come up from the bottom up through the tunnel or does it get bolt right on the top of the tunnel? I have a fiberglass pan and a berrien/Acme Nostalgia chassis, also does the shift rod guide just bolt to the fiberglass tunnel or do I need to install a shifter box under the tunnel. It just seems like the fiberglass tunnel would not support the shifter very well.

I've never seen the Berrien floors so can't speak to their strength. But I would definitely weld these 2 pieces into the chassis. They are both high stress areas and I don't think hte glass will hold up at all. Having the park brake bracket coming up from enderneath will let you make a smaller hole in hte tunnel and give you a cleaner install.
