Hello, I'm happy to find a group of buggy fans! I have a 4 seat buggy with a VW front end and trans axle. Stops fast with conversion to 4wheel disc brakes with 4 piston calipers and now wears 5lug Chevy shoes. Power is from a carbureted Toyota 22r. Next upgrade will hopefully be some coil over struts in the rear and a Chevy one-wire alternator conversion. Hope to learn and share some great ideas here!

Hi Matt, what kind of calipers are you using? Ball joint or king pin front end? And any idea how much widerthe front was after the conversion? I've been looking for 4 piston calipers for a king pin. That k you, Paul...

I bought conversion kits from some company advertising in the back of HotVW magazine. I don't think they made it any wider. I will post some close up pics and measurements tomorrow.
