What is the issue, too short, too long, can't get it close to the shock boss? Front or rear suspension? I wouldn't put them on the front.

I ended up getting rid of my coil over shocks way to stiff of a ride
I put nice cheap stock style Monroe shocks out of JC Whitney and have a nice ride now!

why not??       put them on the front ?.
the back is what's giveing me the hard tme( to long ) by a inch . I'd like to get up in the air so it's not so low to the ground  I like that look.

With the back of the car jacked up try installing the shock by putting a wratcheting tie down strap around the shock and compressing it. I would have reindexed the spring plates and raised the front end. Now you have two suspension components trying to work together. The fornt is going to be way too stiff with coil overs and the factory torsion springs
