I am going to be putting the Allison up for sale.

Quick recap is that it has been restored for the past 6 years and has only got 517 miles on it since rebuild.

I can sell it with or with out engine. Front end was redone and it has a '68 12V swing axle 12V trans.
Tires are on factory correct mags and have 517 miles on them.
Engine is a 1600 SP with a bugpack header and muffler.  Car has new Heat exchangers on it. Heater controlls have been modified to independent heater boxes controlled by each lever, i.e. you can turn heat off and on for each side.
Pans are solid. Has a Build tag for the factory, not a kit car originally. Let me know of interest.
Car is located just south of Chattanooga TN, but is in GA.
I want $4500 with engine or $3800 with out engine.
Engine has 517 miles since total overhaul.
It is dry with the exception of a leak around one of the valve covers...

I have a trade offer for a 1975 beetle Vert already, but would like an older 1970 regular beetle vert if trading or a cloth sliding roof beetle.
Tagged and insured.
I can get more up to date photos of it.
It will come with the neccessary vents to install the heat to the inside as well as 2 small wake boards I was going to use for rear seats.
