I've posted a similar question over at Samba, but since more of the buggy guys (ya'll) are running Corvair engines, I'll ask here as well. With the extra weight of the engine off the transaxle, how are you supporting the extra weight? Are you installing Kafer style bars, transaxle straps, solid mounts? Just want to get my ducks in a row so to speak so I can make some progress with the drivetrain in the next month or so.

I used solid mounts on my street buggy, and never had a problem with the 'extra weight' of the Corvair.
