Hi all! This might sound like a silly question, but it has me scratching my head. How do I keep my clutch pedal from falling forward, and therefore the end of the clutch cable coming off the pedal's hook? If I put a light spring on it, then it will have the effect of riding the clutch. I've been away from air cooled Beetles for years, some of it is slow coming back. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. John.
There's a pedal stop thats bolts to the floor pan in front of the pedals and is slotted so you can adjust the amount of pedal movement.
Hi Joe! Thanks for the reply. You're right, and I remember removing it from the floor, I thought it might be to keep the brake pedal spring in check. Good thing I didn't toss it! John.
No problem glad to help
