Has anyone installed a proximity alarm in their buggy?
If so what did you use or what do you recommend? Thanx all
I use "The Club" and a warning sticker. My club doesn't go on the steering wheel
and the warning sticker gives a graffic description of it's intended use.I've only had a problem with my car once while parked in a public place. Some punk sitting in my car, flooded it while making vroom vroom noises and yanking on the steering wheel. I walked up to the car nonchalantly like I was going by and then reached down and escorted him out of the car with some vigor and introduced him to the curb, up close and personal like.......His buddy never stuck around for the same introduction. I don't have any of my electrical switches labeled and they are in no particular order so if someone starts flipping switches they are bound to hit the horn, 6V horn, 12V system, it make a racket. brad
thank you
I have seen a taser style club, but $300 was a little too steep for the chance of zapping some idiot
Ya, it's not a taser club either. It's pretty low tech, kinda like a stick, but bigger.........
![]() An ex-room mate years ago had a proimity alarm in his Jeep. Problem was cats liked his Jeep 'casue the seats warmed up in the sun. I'm sure a good electronics store could help you out with what you need. brad
Used to use a battery operated fencer, worked great on the truck/trailer, not sure where you could run the circuits on a buggy. My mini Louisville slugger works pretty good also.
