This group focuses on dune buggies powered by Subaru motors with all the complications that go with them such as ECU selection, radiator size and position, mounting, transaxle adapters, wiring, tuning, etc. If your considering putting a subie in your dune buggy (or VW beetle, baja, kit car, sandrail, Thing, speedster, etc.), join our group!



The inspiration for Subbug was the subaruvanagon Yahoo Group, but they limit their topics to Subaru motor transplants into Vanagons.  To bring the rest of the VW owners together, we started Subbug.  If your bolting a Subaru motor to a VW transaxle and its not a Vanagon, this is the place for you.
