I think Pete's "Dune Buggy' X-File registry entry matches up very closely to a Lido.

John Shepard's photo archive of the Lido shows some good examples. This looks like a match on the front of the nose, the scoop, and the tail section.

This could also be a "Bertram Fiberglass" - a copy of the Lido.

I'll leave this in the X-Files section until we have a confirmation on it.
