I picked this up the other day. Apparently, the story is it was a Coca Cola Promo vehicle? Can't seem to locate body style on ID board. Please let me know if you know what it is. Thanks

That looks like the body may be steel. I'm not familiar with any kit resembling your photo.

That is a Vee Rod pickup.
I can't put my fingers on any literature we have on file.
I know I have a brochure and some ads somewhere.

These were fiberglass kits sold in the late 78-79 through 1980-85 maybe.
There was a very nice one featured in the year or so in HotVWs.

You have a beautiful example.
We would love to have more photos of it for the archives.
I will try to locate some ads for you.

As for a Coca-Cola vehicle, I don't know of any National promo using a VW kit of any kind, but some regional or local bottlers had promo money for parade cars or other stuff.

Some red logos on the side would make it  look like an 50's delivery truck for Cocal cola for sure.
Trucks were yellow with red logos.

Thanks for all the help guys! To the first post it is a glass body, not steel.  I have found a few chipped spots on the body where there is the Coca cola red peeking through. I would like to get her back into that look again. If anybody can locate a photo of Coca Cola Promo type vehicles please let me know. I will be working on getting some more photos for the archives. Thanks again! Jerry

Jerry good news.
While working on another ID for HotVws magazine I pulled out my old Allied Fiberglass brochure and sure enough your buggy looks like the Allied Fiberglass VEE TEE.

Did you come up with Allied for that one? Albert said that they built doors into any body style they had as an option.

I think its my buggy you were IDing for hot VWs. Its the blue one with the missing door that you have a pic of in the ID machine. I have tried to contact the genlteman I was told made it but got no answer as to what it really is that i have. From lookin at all the Allied brochures i could find, I came to my own conclusion that I have a 30-30 fun buggy. Short wheel base, not long like the mag guessed. I am truly glad I found this site! John and his crew really seem to have the VW info thing down to a science. I have learned ALOOOOOOOOOT from here. Keep up the great work!  AND THAT IS ONE BADD A#$ T you got there Jerry!
