I recently bought a dune buggy to restore. It has a California Clipper body with the dual hood buldges and flip up rear spoiler. I probably wont use the body. Is the clipper body worth anything or do I scrap it?
I'll probably buy a new body. I can post pics later. Overall its not in bad shape.
This is not a for sale ad just asking if I should scrap the body or try to sell it when I'm ready.

Sell it to someone who's willing to restore it. Dont scrap it!
Though you've decided to go with a new body , which is OK.
Others will be willing to restore it for its history and style.
I personally like the style of the California Clipper

Thanks for the reply, I wasnt sure if anyone would want the old clipper body or not. I'll list it for sale on here this spring when I get busy on it.

You may want to keep the body when you find out how much a new one is, if the Clipper body is in any kind of shape. I am working on a Clipper right now I got here in Florida. The body is in very good shape for it's age and it was one of the better looking buggies anyway.

I don't know what the colors were, but here is what it looked like.
