my name is steff
I am 41 year old
I am from France
I own a french manxter: it's manxter#6-FR
I own it since 2 years but didn't have enough time to mount it, but now I'm ready to.....
I have been managing my company for 5 years, specialized in selling vw and buggy parts here in France (it was called Simili....) and for this reason I sold some Official Manx and Manxter kits.
I sold my company to a good guy called Bertrand, and he didn' t wait a long time to order his Manxter#8-FR kit...
So we have 2 Manxters to build this year....
- mine is "orange" with subaru EJ18 engine and American Racing Toq Thrust II 17" wheels.
- bertrand's is "chocolate" with 2165 type 1 engine and Porsche Fuchs 7x17" Replica Wheels.
We think we will have a lot of questions during the assembly of our kits, so we are very pleased to correspond with all the DBA community...........

I forgot to write my very first question:
Is there a "Manxter Registry" ???....
I found a Manx and a Manx SR Registry, but nothing about manxters.........if anyone had a link........thanks....

Welcome Steff. Feel free to join in any conversation you find. Just stay away from that Kustoms guy... Oh, wait. That's me. Never mind.

Steff, I'd like to welcome you as well. I'm not sure about a Manx registry, but there are plenty of guys here that can assist you with any questions you may have during your build.
Post some pictures of your beauties when you have time. Hopefully either you or Bertrand has a digital camera.

If you are looking for some information on how to build a Manxter "S" (Subaru) go here - http://www.manxgallery.org/gallery/album437 . We did it last winter. The car is a blast to drive with that much power. Have fun, and I hope you have some fabrication ability. Tom
