I am selling my 1600 DP motor which has the lower tins removed, block off plugs in the hot air holes of the fan shroud. This was origanally pulled from a 1971 bug and it sat for years intended to be used as an ultralight powerplant. Supposedly this is a low-mileage motor, but I have no way to confirm that.

This powerplant will be available at the Mid America Motor works show. (May 31-June 1st) Pick up a strong runner for your future project, a spare motor, or a standby motor to build up while you still run the engine you have.

I should be at the DBA buggy build tent most of the time at the show, but you can call me cell as well. (860) 514-9422.

Oh I forgot to mention, this motor has dual Kadron carbs and a vac advance dizzy (not the crap 009 dizzy)

oops, I just realized today that the crap 009 dizzy is still on the engine, so the engine comes with the 009.
