Hey guys,
This buggy is awesome. My buddy has a bunch of money in this buggy.
Please don't make an offer if you are not willing to pay for it within 10 days and either arrange transportation or pick it up in Parkersburg, WV 26101

I am trying to help him sell it. He is having health problems and can't drive it anymore.
It is the cleanest dune buggy I have ever been in.

Can tell you as much as I know about it. Here is the description he wrote for me.
He would like to sell it this weekend.

Super sharp, highly detailed

"Sand Shark" fiberglass buggy on 1967 chassis.

Was a "barn find" body (project started and never finished) with very few holes, cracks etc. Nice new paint (VW "Sea Blue"). Very clean shortened '67 chassis (reportedly had only 12,000 original miles when turned into buggy) - no rust ever on pan or frt end beam. Pan and all suspension parts were fully stripped, and repainted, all VERY clean.

Newly completed; selling because I have lost interest in this buggy due to health concerns.

Probuilt full roll cage, new windshield and frame, frt bumper.

New Drag Specialities Harley style headlights, oval window era tail lights, all new wiring harness.

Scat drag fast shifter, Autometer tach, fiberglass bucket seats with new 3ptharnesses.

New 135 Firestone frt tires and new BFG drag radials on rear. Steel wheels (stock frt, widened 10" rear) w/ new "nipple" hubcaps.

All new brakes, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, etc. Lowered frt with NOS Jatech dropped spindles.

Lots of chrome, all stainless fasteners.

Fresh tranny with superdiff and HD side cover set up by Petrucci Racing.

BRAND NEW 1968cc stroker motor with new 74mm DMS counterweight crank, new Mahle 92 pistons and cylinders, new 042 heads (35.5 by 40 stainless valves, high rev springs, chromoly retainers), new Scat forged flywheel, new KEP stage 1 pressure plate and Daiken disc, Bosch 050 distributor with Pertronix ignitor, new chrome bobtail exhaust, new Engle W125 cam, new oil pump, all new bearings, new lifters, new chromoly pushrods, rebuilt dual Webber 34ICT carbs, with Scat linkage. Runs extremely strong.

The buggy needs nothings, most everything is new or rebuilt.

VERY WELL BUILT!!! Take a look at some of the cobbled together, poorly built cars out there, ... then come look at this car. The differences will be clear. Can deliver to FunFest with prepaid sale. Vehicle is street legal clear titled and ready to own.

Man it is SOLD.
Headed to California to be a Glamis Girl ride. This is the girl that bought it.
I could have bought it from him for $6,000 I missed the end of the auction . Then the auction only went to $6095 I think. I thought it would go for $7500-8000 so I gave up on it.

Someone is getting a sweet ride. Wheel pullin power.
