I know this should be in classifieds and it is. I figured it would be seen more here.
I am looking for a set of deserter windshield posts. Does anyone have any for sale?

Hey Dan,

Not sure you'll have much lick finding these used..... pretty rare to find a usable set, even on old Deserters!
Send me a reminder to jgum at verizon dot net, I may have a lead for you.

just curious. Which model? I thought the series 1 is the same as any other buggy model. Maybe you mean a gs or something I'm not personally familiar with.

Mike Rags is on that also for questions related to his car.

Still looking for the windshield posts. ANY CONDITION.
Does anyone have an old set?

Dan; I tried for years to find a used set for a project buggy - finally bought a new set from east coast manx in the UK. I think it was 175.00 for the set. They sell the prowler and bounty hunter bodies that look pretty much the same as a deserter. Hope this helps--Chris

I think you are realizing how tought they are to locate used.  Have you tried Dave Barnes in Burbank, CA, he has fresh tooling for the Deserter GT and can supply them, last I knew around $250set?   He is tough to get in touch with and busy, but try him, his email is - m87 at -
