I picked this buggy up over the holiday week end. I've never seen one like it in almost 40 years of being involved in VW vehicles. Any help with ID would be great.
What I do know. I am now the 2nd owner. I purchased this from the daughter, she has zero info.
It was built before 1972 as that's the date of the plate attached.
It has been parked since the summer of 91
The pan's I'd is 1870062
It has a split case swing axle and a single port engine.
