One of my earliest memories as a child was the smell of fiberglass resin and my dad's shop in Oldsmar Florida.
My name is Mark Hannah and my dad, Jim, was a boat builder around the time i born in early 1967. Later on in the year my dad did some "match molding" work on a couple of car projects which lead him to the dune buggy industry. Basically a person asked him to duplicate a Myers Manx buggy, which they did with some slight revisions, and the SAND FLEA dune buggy was born.

Cool!!  I was just looking at buying a Sand Flea Manx clone about 5 weeks ago.  It was in the Vero Beach area.   Still had the little Sand Flea badge too.

I'm not going to buy it.  I have enough projects and if I brought it home it would just sit in the backyard for quit a while.

If you go to Google Maps and in the address bar put in " 27.807639,-80.468958 ".  it'll show you exactly where the body is located.  I can't recall the name if the shop but the guy only wanted like $300 or $400.

Let me know if you get it.

Hi, I have this Sand Flea since 1977. It was in gold burst finished with white removable roof. Repainted and rebuilt almost everything on it in 2004. Here are some pictures. Hope you guys enjoy.
