Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I have a golf cart size dune buggy that I bought used when I was a kid in the late 70's. I got it going when I was a kid, and again for my little brothers. A few years ago I redid it again with fresh paint and tires for my kids. It has a fiberglass body with no hood. Golf cart size wheels and tires. The frame is in two sections. The rear section mounts on hinges to allow the engine, drive train and rear axle to swing up and down on coil over shocks. It has torque converter like a snowmobile which powers a trans with fwd and rev which then goes to a jack shaft with chain drive to the axle. Very cute buggy. There is a data plate which states that it was made by minidoo in St. Cloud, MN. I bought it from a guy who said he had been a dealer for them. He had three of them and I bought the one in the worst shape. They were all heavy metal flake gel coat. One was purple, one was orange and mine was silver. I have searched for information on the internet regarding them and can't find anything. Anyone on this form have any history on the company or the buggies? Thank you, Chris
can you post some picture? Front, side, rear, dash if it has one. It might help someone recognize it.
Hi chris hopefully this gets to you. I am very interested in talking with you about your mini doo. I have just found one and would like to see yours.
Hi, I haven't been back on this site in a long time. I just saw Eric's response about his Mini Doo. I also found old pictures of mine. I will try to post some. These are from when I repainted it and got it running for my kids.
