Nice job Bruce! How does the radiator receive it's air? Since you have a cover over it, I'm assuming some sort of induction from underneath... does it cool effectively enough? And I love the seats - what are they from?

Hello Rick

Seats are out of a vw scirocco, they required a lot of fab work to make them fit. But well worth it im getting to old for fiberglass seats.

The cooling system took me forever to figure out , being that i dont have a wind tunnel in my shop, and dont have a unlimited check book.  There were tons of unknowns. and worse, I did not want the radiator to show.

I viewed the car from the side as if were a aircraft wing, with the wind screen angle as a camber adjustment to change the pressure zones of air flowing over the top of the car.

With this in mind i do not need any scoops at all under the car. The cooling system works perfect

At city speeds temps 180 to 195, fan is on intermitingly

At highway speeds 60 to 80 mph my temps are at 180 to 190  with no fan on at all .

great looking car i need to get busy and work on my car. hows your car been working since working, what trans are you using and noticed you have U-joints instead of cv shafts ( how are the U-joint half shafts working out ? )
