Just bought this buggy for $400.00, some one tried to stretch it and had no clue on fibre glass work. Buggy came with pan, trans,1600 engine, roll bar and windshield. I.D. sticker on the side says "MIGHTY MOTOR" ..I THINK...
Going to restore and shorten the pan. Motor will be built to a 1950.
Here are some photos Chime in if you know what it is. Other than a close Manx clone.

This looks like either a Joe Potty Sand Rover or a Shortie Mfg buggy. I have seen the fiberglassed business card under the hood of one of the Shortie Mfg cars. Can you let us know if there is a business card glassed in on the bottom side of the hood?

I wonder if the tag isn't "shorty motors". I'll have to do some serious digging to see if I can find that picture of the business card to see if it says shorty motors on it. I know the company was Shorty Manufacturing in Monson Mass. Hmmmm.
