Interest in the buggy, sure.
Interested in becoming a distributor is a another story. AMAC
It is an interesting Buggy, however, to become a distributor, would require money and a good location that has lots of opportunity to sell them. Might check with some of the bigger automobile dealers in either California or Florida. Just my thoughts.
Cool car, but there's no way you could import them into Canada as a roadworthy vehicle as it is new construction and would have to meet all current crash, safety and emissions standards. IT might be able to come in as a recreational vehicle, but most guys want them for off road in rugged terrain and you'd be competing with side by sides.

I think it would have a hard time passing California standards for road worthiness by current standard for safety and pollution. When I was a kid there would be no problem, today it would have to be just for off road use.

You could check other states That have ports, however, most all vehicles built for the US are made Mostly to Cali Standards.
Get the copy of Standards, that is the best I can do for advice. Has to meet Minimum standards for most of country, even if you did not ever sell it is California. ![]()
