Well some may have already seen the intro pictures of my buggy. I still dont have a clue of its origin but I really dont care. This buggy came to me as you see in the pics, it sat in a back yard for kids to play in and on. Its in rough shape.

Like i said it was a play thing for quite some time
this is a picture looking down the neck of the gas tank ![]() yeap you guessed it rocks and alot of them
So i decided i need to clean everything up so. I removed the hood/dash

Then i thought well the body should come off too

The motor was next, has to be rebuilt anyways

just purchased this to help with the motor shortage. its only a small 1200 but i think it will run hopefully i didnt over pay $200cdn and it has a cracked tranny case. i have 3 of them anyway trannys that is

so tonight i finally started with the rebuild of the buggy
started with removing the old floors. i am going to replace with 1x2 tube and some flat
so i started my floors tonight, easier then i thought. still have to grind them smooth and cut to length
got some progress done tonight
i am happy with the result
got the rear portion of the lip cut off and welded back up tonight, also the heater knob hole
another little update
got one side floor cutout and just clamp into place

got the floors cut and tacked into place, also got my pedals too ![]()
got the "hat" done tonight, need to clean up the welds
next on the list is the rear section
tacked in the filler pieces on the batwing tonight

started my steering column fab
still a ways to go but a few pictures to keep you interested
got the stand alone steering column tacked up tonight
