first time builder needing some advise on Kellison Super T. we used a 1973 VW super beetle for the doner we are wondering what we have to change on the front suspension to make it fit under the kellison body because the factory struts mounted to the body of the beetle and we have no upper strut mounts is there a different front suspension modification or a whole different front suspension we can use any help would be appreciated

You can use a Super pan but the front frame head has to come off and be replaced with the frame head for either a link or a ball joint front torsion assembly. Its not an east task.
It's not an easy task, but if you can fabricate, it's not horrible. Measure A LOT before you weld everything solid. If you can shorten a pan can shorten a pan you can change a framehead.

I have found another beetle that has a front suspension that should work. This beetle is not the super beetle so what I am going to do is take the body off this beetle and swap engines. The beetle I found is a 74. It not a super beetle and Im not sure what it is yet but I will get the title and it should tell me.

Will the Kellison body fit on a ball joint front beam?
I don't know the answer...I was just asking since the pictures of the front tower mods were based on a link pin front end. ![]()

Since the ball joint shock towers are already canted out just like the link pin beam modification diagram above it could very well be that the ball joint beam will clear just fine. I just Googled up a bunch of Berry Mini T pictures and found several with ball joint beams.
