Trying to find someplace that can tell me how to tell the difference between a Jefferies Kyote and the Italian Momo or the Irwin Sportster.  I believe mine is an Irwin Sportster, more so because of the limited number of Jefferies actually built but would like to make sure.

Do you have more pictures?  Look under the dash on the passenger side to see if there is a card there.   I would like to see pictures of the dash, tail, interior and back "seat" area.  I have a Jefferies body and a clone body.
I am headed out of town for two days in the morning, so may not be able to answer back till later in the week.

Can you resize the pictures before posting. Much easier for all to see if you don't have to scroll around looking at them

Speedyvws, if you are having a hard time resizing, just delete it. Here you go.

I don't find any tag under the dash (or anywhere else on the vehicle).  A couple of things I have found indicate Jefferies allowed Irwin Sportster to be built to the same specifications of the Mantaray II Kyote and the only way you can tell which it is is to determine if it was built on the east or west coast.

Your back does not look like an original Mantaray II Kyote, I will see if I can again post the pictures of the two bodies I have, one an original, verified by Dean through pictures.  The other, I believe is a clone, but unknown who made it.
My pictures are on my phone, I will have to see if I can load them to the computer first.

Okay, I have found pics of the Momo and it has front turn signal pods just below and inside the head lights so this is not a Momo.  I found an article that addresses the different "tail" on the Mantaray II Kyote.  It appears that initially it was designed as my buggy shows.  The article indicates "a section was added on the rear that resembles a small spoiler which can be raised to provide access to the engine compartment.   I found another article that indicates although Jefferies did these modifications, Irwin Sportster did not so this would indicate this is either an early Jefferies or an Irwin Sportster.  Since Jefferies only produced 150 Mantaray II Kyotes, I am leaning more toward the idea that this is probably an Irwin Sportster.  Still Looking...
