Hopefully someone will recognize this front end.
Seller was told it was an Allison but I cannot find an image on the Net!

He's dead-on right that it's a Dune Runner Mini Mecedes.

I've done work on another which is the "pickup" style body. The "grille" on that one still has the DuneRunner logo and name as well as the RoadRunner bird logo which I understand Warner Brothers Studios took exception to the use of.

The low side rails are another clue that you have a dune runner body.

You can find the Dune Runner buggies in the Buggy ID section under 'D'.

dustymojave, I wonder if he might still have the Mfg. decal on his buggy, but since his grille is on upside down, it is being covered up?
