I am a new member with an Allison Electric vehicle (maybe the first one every).  Instead of using a gas motor, we used a 3-phase AC motor with 115 volt lithium pack with 36 cells.  This thing is as fast or faster than the 1600cc motor that it came with.  I can run 55mph in second and over 90mph in third.  Still doing body work, but, the electronic drive is quite an experience and quite.  I can run for 45 miles and then need to recharge.  What a simple system.  Take a look at the pictures.

Hey Ken, glad to see you here. For those who are looking at Ken's car the pictures don't do it justice. It is a super looking buggy and everything is top notch in this build. Still waiting for you to introduce the Allison truck Ken.
