Hi all,
Decided to put my engine and reversed IRS transaxle up for sale here in SE PA. I bought it to install in a kit, but the engine is just a hair too long for the bodywork, so I'm heading a different direction. Motor runs, comes equipped with the adapter plate and 200mm clutch. Asking $1500 for the package. Motor has since been resealed with new Viton tube rings and gaskets... there shouldn't be an oil stain under it now! :-)

Hi Jack,
I'm southwest of Philly by about 40 minutes. Only 20 minutes from the Delaware border. What do you mean cover to cover size? Physical size? I'd have to measure that and get back to you. The motor itself is a '65 110hp. I'm going to try to pull the transaxle back out this weekend. I'll see if I can't hook everything up and fire it up on the ground for a video.

Oh, and I just put a new fuel pump and one-wire alternator on it as well!

Ok Jack, here are the dimensions:

Valve cover to valve cover, 28.25"
Adapter plate to oil filter housing, 24.75"
Bottom of head to top of alternator, 15"

Measurements do not include the headers or intake setup as you may want something different.

I like this package and the price, but based solely on that solid pully on the crank, it's probably not be a 110hp.  That crank/pullythat set-up was in the smaller 140 or 145ci engines uo to 1964 and not the later 164ci engines of the 110 and 140 hp varieties.

Still a great deal for someone, wish it was me.

I'm fairly certain the case and head numbers match to a '65, Bob. And that's what I was told it was pulled from. I could be wrong, though.. wouldn't be the first time!
