Looking for some direction on the removal of the hood on my 69 Imp. I have sludge and or rust in my fuel tank and need to remove the tank. I am new to this and would greatly appreciate any info on how to remove the hood and fuel tank? Thanks.

Generally speaking the hoods are attached with a series of screws along the inner fron wheel wells. Each build is different however.

Depending on how it was done you may need to deal with the bolts/screws, the steering column & the wiring. Its a pretty big job.

Once you get the hood off its usually just 4 bolts with washers holding the tank into the opening.
