For a winter project I was thinking of switching over to a hydraulic clutch. I am looking at the pedal assembly pictured and was wondering if anyone else has done so. One of the reasons I was thinking of doing so is that my clutch tube is flexing and since I ran my brake line thru the tunnel I could run the clutch line along the drivers side of the tunnel where the brake line normally runs. My main concern is how much leg room would I lose, if any, due to the reservoirs being on the back side of the pedals?

I really like a hydraulic clutch and have one on my buggy. You are going to lose A LOT of leg room with that pedal assembly unless you can figure out a way to get the resevoirs through the front firewall and have the pedals in the stock location. There is a company called SACO that makes a hydraulic set up the bolts the clutch master inside the tunnel and uses the stock pedals. It's around $230 I think and requires some cuttin and fittin to get it inside. But I say figure it out and go hydraulic........

Yes, that's the one. It bolts on inside the tunnel and uses the stock clutch arm to actuate the master cylinder.
