Looking to find the best filters against sand at the beach.  It tends to be wet or moist sand and gets thrown from the rear into the motor area.  Standard filters with spongie oil wraps are difficult to use on the passanger side carb because of the offset and very difficult to keep in place.  Anyone with a tried and true method ie:better (smaller) air filters to enjoy beach driving worry free?

What kind of carbs are you running?

If they are Webers you could use these over your existing ones

Thanks Brad.  I have solex carbs that have round air cleaners.  These oblong filters do not fit well to the solex filters.  Any other suggestions?
Thanks, Scott

You can go "Old School" and stretch a nylon stocking over the air cleaner otherwise, Outerwears  http://outerwears.com/ makes something to fit any filter.
