I think this would be a kool buggy with a fold down windshield added. Kind of Kubel like:

Oh interesting... This has got to be an X file. Albert (owner of Allied) said the hoods all had that raised "hourglass" kind of pattern.

My guess is this is a copied body with a massaged hood. It's cool as anything though! It would look good as long as it was a front (skinny) tire up there.... One of my rear tires on there and you'd be getting tickets for "obstruction of view" by the local authorities! :-)
